Come to me, All

Mathew 11:28 Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

When we encounter setbacks and failure and thus feel sorrow and pain, God will heal the pain in our heart, and guide us to cast off hardship. Have you ever had a time in your life where you felt overwhelmed by the things of this world? Where life seemed so hard and no matter what you did, things just wouldn’t go right?

We are allowed to come to God personally; there is nothing between Him and us. The first thing that Jesus says to us is, “Come to Me…”. I know and very well remember that in my life when I tried to do everything with my own strength alone it did not turn out well.

God wants to set you free and give you rest from the torture you are under. God can take the addictions of your life if you let Him. For some people, it will be instant, and for others, it will be a process.

The COVID-19 has brought depression to many life’s. Depression robs you of the ability to enjoy life and not only hurts you mentally but physically as well. God wants you to live a full life and is able to heal your mind as you take those steps of faith to find His rest. Jesus makes an extraordinary offer to all who hear Him. Jesus gave an  invitation to all- if you’re struggling and tired, I can give you relief.

Our burdens are not simple, they are not relieved by simplistic platitudes, but a simple promise can relieve a complex burden, provided we believe that the power behind the promise is complex and strong enough to relieve our heaviness.

Jesus does not give us “10 Ways to Relieve our Weariness,” like the motivational coaches offer in the 21st century where Americans are drawn. Jesus simply offers himself as the universal solution to all that burdens us. We all bear burdens and become weary, but in different ways, for different reasons, and often at different times. When we are weary, we are easily discouraged and can be given to cynical unbelief. So if you are weary, for whatever reason, however complex, Jesus invites you to come. Come, take his light yoke of believing in him.

At whatever stage of your life you find yourself, The life of faith is a constant coming to Jesus for daily, hourly, and fresh supplies. Always set aside part of each day to talk with God, thanking Him for who He is and what He has done for you.

Be Strong and of Good Courage

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

This promise though made at the time particularly to Israel and Joshua yet belongs to all believers.

This is an invitation to believe and follow God. Only when we believe in God and follow His leadership, we can be truly strong and courageous. The result and effect of sin is always weakness, confusion, strife and eventually death.

God is present everywhere, and this should encourage us in times of distress and keep us from sinning because He is always with us and watching us.

God’s presence should be of great comfort to every born-again believer since no matter what level of the trial, the Lord is there.

God is always with us to encourage and support our service to Him. When God called Moses to proclaim His message and lead Israel out of slavery, the Book of Exodus chapter 4 from verse 10 to 12 explains that Moses protested because of his lack of speaking abilities. But God said, “I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”

Jesus commands us, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations . . . and surely, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” If you feel that you are not strong and courageous, remember what God told Moses and what Jesus told His disciples. Bear in mind that as believers we have the same resources they had, which is the presence and power of God!

Then Moses called Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel: Bringing the people into the Promised Land was God’s work. He was going to do it.

Well my friends remember that God always does His work through men and women who make themselves available to Him.

God uses encouraging people to help us fulfill the destiny He has for us.

The Song of Moses as in book of Deuteronomy chapter 32

“Give ear, O heavens, and let me speak;
And let the earth hear the words of my mouth.
“Let my teaching drop as the rain,
My speech distill as the dew,
As the droplets on the fresh grass
And as the showers on the herb.
“For I proclaim the name of the Lord;
Ascribe greatness to our God!
“The Rock! His work is perfect,
For all His ways are just;
A God of faithfulness and without injustice,
Righteous and upright is He.
“They have acted corruptly toward Him,
They are not His children, because of their defect;
But are a perverse and crooked generation.
“Do you thus repay the Lord,
O foolish and unwise people?
Is not He your Father who has bought you?
He has made you and established you.
“Remember the days of old,
Consider the years of all generations.
Ask your father, and he will inform you,
Your elders, and they will tell you.
“When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance,
When He separated the sons of man,
He set the boundaries of the peoples
According to the number of the sons of Israel.
“For the Lord’s portion is His people;
Jacob is the allotment of His inheritance.
“He found him in a desert land,
And in the howling waste of a wilderness;
He encircled him, He cared for him,
He guarded him as the pupil of His eye.
“Like an eagle that stirs up its nest,
That hovers over its young,
He spread His wings and caught them,
He carried them on His pinions.
“The Lord alone guided him,
And there was no foreign god with him.
“He made him ride on the high places of the earth,
And he ate the produce of the field;
And He made him suck honey from the rock,
And oil from the flinty rock,
Curds of cows, and milk of the flock,
With fat of lambs,
And rams, the breed of Bashan, and goats,
With the finest of the wheat—
And of the blood of grapes you drank wine.

“But Jeshurun grew fat and kicked—
You are grown fat, thick, and sleek—
Then he forsook God who made him,
And scorned the Rock of his salvation.
“They made Him jealous with strange gods;
With abominations they provoked Him to anger.
“They sacrificed to demons who were not God,
To gods whom they have not known,
New gods who came lately,
Whom your fathers did not dread.
“You neglected the Rock who begot you,
And forgot the God who gave you birth.

“The Lord saw this, and spurned them
Because of the provocation of His sons and daughters.
“Then He said, ‘I will hide My face from them,
I will see what their end shall be;
For they are a perverse generation,
Sons in whom is no faithfulness.
‘They have made Me jealous with what is not God;
They have provoked Me to anger with their idols.
So I will make them jealous with those who are not a people;
I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation,
For a fire is kindled in My anger,
And burns to the lowest part of Sheol,
And consumes the earth with its yield,
And sets on fire the foundations of the mountains.

‘I will heap misfortunes on them;
I will use My arrows on them.
‘They will be wasted by famine, and consumed by plague
And bitter destruction;
And the teeth of beasts I will send upon them,
With the venom of crawling things of the dust.
‘Outside the sword will bereave,
And inside terror—
Both young man and virgin,
The nursling with the man of gray hair.
‘I would have said, “I will cut them to pieces,
I will remove the memory of them from men,”
Had I not feared the provocation by the enemy,
That their adversaries would misjudge,
That they would say, “Our hand is triumphant,
And the Lord has not done all this.”’

“For they are a nation lacking in counsel,
And there is no understanding in them.
“Would that they were wise, that they understood this,
That they would discern their future!
“How could one chase a thousand,
And two put ten thousand to flight,
Unless their Rock had sold them,
And the Lord had given them up?
“Indeed their rock is not like our Rock,
Even our enemies themselves judge this.
“For their vine is from the vine of Sodom,
And from the fields of Gomorrah;
Their grapes are grapes of poison,
Their clusters, bitter.
“Their wine is the venom of serpents,
And the deadly poison of cobras.

‘Is it not laid up in store with Me,
Sealed up in My treasuries?
‘Vengeance is Mine, and retribution,
In due time their foot will slip;
For the day of their calamity is near,
And the impending things are hastening upon them.’
“For the Lord will vindicate His people,
And will have compassion on His servants,
When He sees that their strength is gone,
And there is none remaining, bond or free.
“And He will say, ‘Where are their gods,
The rock in which they sought refuge?
‘Who ate the fat of their sacrifices,
And drank the wine of their drink offering?
Let them rise up and help you,
Let them be your hiding place!
‘See now that I, I am He,
And there is no god besides Me;
It is I who put to death and give life.
I have wounded and it is I who heal,
And there is no one who can deliver from My hand.
‘Indeed, I lift up My hand to heaven,
And say, as I live forever,
If I sharpen My flashing sword,
And My hand takes hold on justice,
I will render vengeance on My adversaries,
And I will repay those who hate Me.
‘I will make My arrows drunk with blood,
And My sword will devour flesh,
With the blood of the slain and the captives,
From the long-haired leaders of the enemy.’
“Rejoice, O nations, with His people;
For He will avenge the blood of His servants,
And will render vengeance on His adversaries,
And will atone for His land and His people.”

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him.”

Hebrews 11:23-28

By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.

24 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.

Well today I would like you all to be into light of God and off course to be in his light and take blessings I need to practice faith. Today we will see from Old Testament the book of Hebrews.

As Bible says in Hebrew 11 verse 23, so their claim of faith was because they believed. Again from verse 24 -28 all very powerful scriptures which tells us about how Faith worked in the life of the Moses and his parents but this was all because they believed in God. They pleased God because they believed in God. So if at all you want to Please God so that he can do great work through you and bless you, you need to believe in God.

Whatever you want to achieve in life may be your passion, your dream, a job, business, an asset it has to be through FAITH, it cannot be according to the kind of friends you have, or according to the Fortune it is according to the FAITH you have in God and God is pleased the way you believe in him.

Moses did not left Egypt because of fear, He left because he believed and had FAITH in God.

Here there is generational change Moses Parents too believed in God and they had FAITH they were not afraid of the kings commandment of killing the new born, they hid him for three months as they believed that Moses is not an ordinary child.

I see families bringing up their kids sometimes lead them to live a cowardly life of an ordinary Citizen of the country.

When I see some of ancient Hollywood movies based on famous warriors I see the family works hard to make the legal heirs a King and be an emperor to their people. The family believes and has Faith and that is how people create history. There are many examples from the Bible there are great heroes, Moses, David, and King Solomon

We see there is a generational learning and teaching of Faith and belief from Parents to Child and then to their next generation.

My Friends the Bible teaches us about the way Family’s built Faith and their belief in God.

We should always teach our generations, the children about the Faith and what we believe into is a most powerful God the creator of Heaven and Earth. We should pass on the message from generation to generation that we serve a mighty God and we can please him only if we believe him and nothing between the Heavens and the Earth shall be impossible for us.

Amen……
