God will Guide you into all Truth

John 16:12-13 – I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

Grace is God choosing to bless us. It is His benevolence to the undeserving. God shows both mercy and grace, but they are not the same. Mercy withholds a punishment we deserve; grace gives a blessing we do not deserve. Grace is God giving the greatest treasure to the least deserving—which is every one of us.

The question we are left with is whether we will listen to the Spirit and be open to newer and deeper understandings of our faith and to the implications of Jesus’s revelation for us today. 

Jesus has been explaining the coming and work of the Holy Spirit. That includes the ways in which the Spirit will “convict” the unbelieving world.

A recurring theme in the Bible is that God understands our weaknesses.

Jesus told us that He would convict the world of the Sin. We learned that His mission to the world was to expose sin, expose their false righteousness, and expose the fact that judgment is coming for all who are not in Christ.

Here in the book of John chapter sixteen verse twelve to thirteen the things that Jesus still needed to tell his disciples was that they would require supernatural understanding.  This was the thing they currently did not possess.  They would, however, possess it very shortly once they all received the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes, our Lord tells us, He will guide us into truth.  

In this verse Jesus is explaining us something ——–Well!! — Our Lord tells them that He has much more to say.  His revelation is not finished.  He wants to tell them many more things and He will through the Holy Spirit……. 

It is not that the Holy Spirit will be leading all Christians into new and additional truth.

Jesus tells His followers that the Holy Spirit will speak to them the things He hears from God. The other issue that lies under the surface here is the fact that God’s Word will function as the Holy Spirit works to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.  It is God’s Word now accompanied with the Spirit that does that in the hearts of lost people.

All the truth that God wants humanity to have will be taught by the Holy Spirit.  There are more things about God than are contained in the Bible. 

However, everything we need to know about God is given to us in the Bible. 

How do we understand God’s wisdom?

Open your Bible and you get God’s Wisdom. 

Do we understand that Jesus said heaven and earth will pass away but My Word will not pass away?

Fear Not- God will Not Forsake You

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD your God, he it is that does go with you; he will not fail you, nor forsake you.

When we feel weak in our faith in difficulties, we need God’s presence; when we feel fear facing frequent disasters, we are more in need of God’s presence. The following Bible verse about God being with us and related content will help you find the way to obtain God’s presence. Men of encouragement like Moses are a blessing.

Revelation 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Since we are searching for the footprints of God, it behooves us to search for Gods Will, for the words of God, for His utterances—because wherever there are new words spoken by God, the voice of God is there, and wherever there are the footsteps of God, God’s deeds are there. Wherever there is the expression of God, there God appears, and wherever God appears, there the truth, the way, and the life exist. Moses assures Israel of the constant presence of God with them.

The word of God is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of men’s hearts and meets them by reproofs and correction. The people who preach the word, know not the imaginations of men; but God, whose word it is, knows perfectly.

The book of Deuteronomy addresses something that we all need to understand. What does it look like to live in the light of the grace of God, the grace of God that is most powerfully brought to us through the person and work of the Lord Jesus? 

Well, my friends, kindly understand, what God wants me to do with my life. So, every day, I must live with a “God’s mentality.”

Jesus was able to complete God’s commission—the work of all mankind’s redemption—because He gave every care to God’s will, without making any plans or arrangements for Himself. 

Those who serve God should be God’s intimates, they should be pleasing to God, and capable of the utmost loyalty to God, regardless of how other people treat you, you always walk the path you should walk, and give every care to God’s burden.

When Job first underwent his trials, he was stripped of all his property and all of his children, but he did not fall down or say anything that was a sin against God as a result. He had overcome the temptations of Satan, and he had overcome his material assets, his offspring and the trial of losing all his worldly possessions, which is to say he was able to obey God as He took things away from him and he was also able to offer thanks and praise to God because of what God did. Such was Job’s conduct during Satan’s first temptation, and such was also Job’s testimony during the first trial of God. In the second trial, Satan stretched forth its hand to afflict Job, and although Job experienced pain greater than he had ever felt before, still his testimony was enough to leave people astounded. He used his fortitude, conviction, and obedience to God, as well as his fear of God, to once more defeat Satan, and his conduct and his testimony were once more approved of and favored by God. During this temptation, Job used his actual conduct to proclaim to Satan that the pain of the flesh could not alter his faith and obedience to God or take away his devotion to God and fear of God; he would not renounce God or give up his own perfection and uprightness because he faced death. Job’s determination made a coward of Satan, his faith left Satan timorous and trembling, the intensity with which he fought against Satan during their life-and-death battle bred in Satan a deep hatred and resentment; his perfection and uprightness left Satan with nothing more it could do to him, such that Satan abandoned its attacks on him and gave up its accusations against Job that it had laid before Jehovah God. This meant that Job had overcome the world, he had overcome the flesh, he had overcome Satan, and he had overcome death; he was completely and utterly a man who belonged to God. During these two trials, Job stood firm in his testimony, actually lived out his perfection and uprightness, and broadened the scope of his living principles of fearing God and shunning evil. Having undergone these two trials, there was born in Job a richer experience, and this experience made him more mature and seasoned, it made him stronger, and of greater conviction, and it made him more confident of the rightness and worthiness of the integrity to which he held firm. God’s trials of Job gave him a deep understanding and sense of God’s concern for man and allowed him to sense the preciousness of God’s love, from which point consideration toward and love for God were added into his fear of God. The trials of God not only did not alienate Job from Him but brought his heart closer to God. When the fleshly pain endured by Job reached its peak, the concern that he felt from God gave him no choice but to curse the day of his birth. Such conduct was not long planned, but a natural revelation of the consideration for and love for God from within his heart, it was a natural revelation that came from his consideration for and love for God. This is to say, because he loathed himself, and he was unwilling to, and could not stand to torment God, thus his consideration and love reached the point of selflessness. Thus, he elevated his faith and obedience to God and fear of God to the level of consideration and loving. He did not allow himself to do anything that would cause harm to God, he did not permit himself any conduct that would hurt God, and did not allow himself to bring any sorrow, grief, or even unhappiness upon God for his own reasons. In God’s eyes, although Job was still the same Job as before, Job’s faith, obedience, and fear of God had brought God complete satisfaction and enjoyment.

The group of people whom God will gain are those who know God; that is, those who know His practicality. Furthermore, they are those who are able to submit to God’s practical work.

God’s Throne of Grace

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

The Holy Scriptures are the word of God. When God sets it home by his Spirit, it convinces powerfully, converts powerfully, and comforts powerfully. It makes a soul that has long been proud, to be humble; and a perverse spirit, to be meek and obedient. 

Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in last days he has spoken  to us by his Son, whom he appointed   the heir of all things, through whom he created the world. He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the           universe by the word of his power.

The work Jesus did was in accordance with the needs of man in that age. His task was to redeem humanity, to forgive them their sins, and so His disposition was wholly one of humility, patience, love, piety, forbearance, mercy, and loving kindness. He blessed humanity richly and brought them grace in abundance, and all the things that they could possibly enjoy, He gave them for their enjoyment: peace and happiness, His tolerance and love, His mercy and loving kindness. 

But now, we are lacking in faith and the ability to differentiate things and we are always unable to understand God’s words and His intentions.

Well!! do not be discouraged, do not be weak, God will make things clear for you. The road to the kingdom is not smooth; nothing is simple! You want blessings to come to you easily.

Today, everyone will have bitter trials to face. Without such trials, the loving heart you have for God will not grow stronger and you will not have true love for Him. Even if these trials consist merely of minor circumstances, everyone must pass through them; it is just that the difficulty of the trials will vary from one person to another. Trials are a blessing from God. Many of us come often before Him and beg on our knees for His blessings. We always think that a few auspicious words count as His blessing, yet we do not recognize that bitterness is one of His blessings.

In a year 2020 and 2021 where we have experienced a great deal of suffering and death, it is likely that we can relate to the trials. Our faith may be weary, weak, and shaken. The COVID-19 pandemic unveiled the pandemic of health and wealth inequalities, racism, and sexism. 

The book of Hebrews encourages us to remember that in our difficult times, tie a knot and hold on. Hold on to the confession with faith. The risen Christ is the assurance of this faith. If it is the confession of our faith that makes us Christians, we should consider what it means to be called this name, take on this title? For one, it means that we have inherited a name that is, above all names, a more excellent name.

God’s grace is revealed like a father to his children, He really wants what is best for us. The word of God does not say that “Okay, I am going to wreck your life, I’m going to take away all your fun because I can do it because I’m the authority. The word of God is about, God who says, “I want you right here, right now, to know the best that life can be for you because I love you, I want what’s best for you.” 

The Bible teaches us another thing, that the best things that we need, we cannot earn; they are God’s gifts to us. You cannot earn the wisdom; you cannot deserve the beauty of what you learn from the Gospel. It is dropped down on us because it is from the God of awesome mercy.

God is Our Refuge and Strength

Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging.

The book of Psalm calls upon people of all nations to worship God with reverence and joy. No matter what troubles we meet, whether from earthquakes, floods or wars, or in today’s time we see the pandemic of COVID-19, the person who trusts in God is not overcome by them.

The economists of the World states that this economic crisis will be bigger than Great depression of 1930, the financial crises will impact bigger than 2008.

My friends, but the person who trusts in God is not overcome by them.

Every new year brings us 365 days of uncertainty. Every new day brings us 24 hours of uncertainty. But every second of every hour of every day, God’s presence and power in our lives is available to us. What does the future hold?  It really doesn’t matter, 

The book of Psalm 46 was Martin Luther’s favorite Psalm. During the dark and dangerous periods of the Reformation, Luther would turn to his trusted friend Philip Melanchthon and exclaim: “Let’s sing the 46th Psalm, and let the devil do his worst!”  It inspired his great hymn “A Mighty Fortress is Our God.”  

Israel’s people had heard of God’s marvelous acts in the past; now they have seen them with their own eyes, The citizens of Jerusalem are proud of their city, but they are prouder still of their God who has preserved it.

God is for us as a place to which we may flee for safety; a source of strength to us in danger. 

The book of Psalm 46 verse 1-3 The word “help” here means aid, assistance. The word “trouble” would cover all that can come upon us which would give us anxiety or sorrow. The word rendered “present” means rather, “is found,” or “has been found;” that is, he has “proved” himself to be a help in trouble. The word “present,” express the idea, that He has always “proved” himself to be such a help, and therefore, we must confide in him. It was true in the most eminent sense that God had always been found to be such a helper, “therefore,” there was nothing to fear in the present distress. 

We must know that if God is our refuge and our strength, we don’t need to fear. People can you know come around with all kinds of doomsday notions and prophecies, but it shouldn’t stir us. It shouldn’t worry us. I wouldn’t blame God if He did shake off my business into the Pacific Ocean. And I think He would be justified in doing so. But my trust is in God, always. Now, I don’t care where life takes me, we can’t really escape. We can’t really run from danger. Face it, living is dangerous. No matter where you are you are surrounded with danger, and you can’t really hide from danger. What you can have is the security of God, no matter what calamity or catastrophe may befall. Your life can be hiding in Christ,

I remember December 2016, when Government in India imposed policy of demonetization, I had started a business in Construction Industry as I had a passion to start my own Shipping Vessel operation for Oil and Gas business, I had a government contract order of $11 Million. I lost business, I lost respect, I lost credit worthiness, I joined a job in 2017 at a small grade and salary which I use to get in 2013. As I said we can’t really run from danger. Face it, living is dangerous. No matter where you are you are surrounded with danger, and you can’t really hide from danger.

This Pandemic has taught us to think back of the glorious Kingdom Age where they will beat their swords into plow shears and their spears into pruning hooks, and they will study war no more. The glorious thousand years of peace upon the earth as we dwell together in God’s glorious kingdom. Living together in that glorious age, where righteousness covers the earth as waters cover the sea.

Oh, what a glorious anticipation we have of that, neat time. Living on this earth, rejuvenated for the glorious kingdom of Christ.

God is able to Bless you Abundantly

2 Corinthians 9:8

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Grace is the most important concept taught in the Bible. Scripture is filled with verses about God’s grace, and even though it is not something we deserve, God is kind to us and wants the best for our lives. Simply put – grace is the unmerited, unearned love and favor of God.

Christians become an act of faith, trusting God to meet our needs. He has already proven Himself faithful by giving us His grace through our faith in Jesus. He has given us all things forever in Christ. 

Christians who give generously are convinced that the source of their provision will not run out—because that source is God Himself!

Be Generous in Giving

God does not intend giving to be done as an obligation, or under a cloud of legalism. Rather, it should be inspired and driven by a willing and cheerful heart. Giving is an opportunity for believers to participate with God in meeting the needs of the poor. God increases the ability of believers who give generously to give even more. This results in increasing His righteousness on earth, as well as in causing thankfulness to Him to overflow. He will be glorified by those who receive the gift and pray for those who give.

Materially, we can trust that God will provide for the giving heart. The promise of Philippians 4:19 -my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus is made in the context of the generous hearts of the Philippians 4:15-18. If we give to God, He will give to us materially.

Therefore, Spiritually, we can trust that God will reward the giving heart both now and in eternity. Jesus spoke to this in Matthew 19:29: And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. Jesus obviously did not mean that we would receive a hundred houses if we gave up our house for Him any more than He meant we would receive a hundred wives if we gave one up for Him! But He did mean that we are never the losers when we give to God. The Lord can never be in debt to any man, and we should never be afraid of giving God “too much.” Spiritually or materially,

Henceforth you can’t out-give God.

 Every Christian should be a giver. Because of small resources some cannot give much but it is still important that they give, and that they give with the right kind of heart. God does not want our giving to be grudging -reluctantly, regretfully given with plenty of complaining or of necessity because someone has manipulated us into giving.

Instead of giving in a grudging way or out of necessity, God wants us to give cheerfully. 

Jesus taught that even the smallest gift, if given with the right heart, would not go without a reward: And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward.

Proper directions to be observed about the right and acceptable manner of bestowing charity; and it is of great concernment that we not only do what is required, but do it as is commanded. 

In rewarding our giving, God does it with all grace.

Our giving is rewarded in many different ways, materially and spiritually. Materially, God may bless our giving by promotions with better pay, unexpected gifts of money, or by making things last so we don’t suffer the cost of replacing them. Spiritually, God may bless our giving by freeing our hearts from the tyranny of greed and materialism, by giving us a sense of blessing and happiness, or by storing up rich reward in heaven. There is no end to the ways we can be blessed when God is able to make all grace abound toward us.

Bless the Lord, O my Soul

Psalm 103:1-4

Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

David understood that true worship was something deeply inward, of the soul. It is not just about outward forms or expressions, but also about something real from the soul.

The book of Psalm tells us that “Don’t forget what God has done.” It is easier for an over-stressed person of the 21st century and more during the COVID-19 pandemic to forget about God. The book of Psalms reminds us of the everyday benefits God gave us forgiveness, healing, saving from sins. It speaks and tells us of the inclusive nature of the Lord’s steadfast love which works justice for all who are oppressed.

This Psalm of David is a praise beyond comparison. It lightens my heart to the extent that I must stop my writing and take out time to praise the LORD with all that is within me as well. Even as I type these words of praise, there is an overwhelming presence of the LORD. My heart is singing within at praise of the Lord. Jesus Christ gave His body on the cross to give us a new everlasting life in Him. One of the most loving and wonderful things He has done, is making the earth and all that it contains for a dwelling place for mankind. God gives efficacy to medicine for the body, and his grace sanctifies the soul. Spiritually we are daily under his care, and he visits us, as the doctor does to his patient; healing each problem irrespective how severe we think as it arises. 

He loves the Creator intellectually, emotionally, and practically. There is some parallel in sentiment with the admonition to love God with the totality of one’s being — heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Have you ever been through a dark cloud of life, wherein your heart was wrenched with agony? Finally, then, arriving at shore a solution, you find yourself so overwhelmed with thanksgiving and joy that you virtually weep for the lack of ability to adequately thank God? So, love your Creator intellectually, emotionally, and practically with the totality of one’s being from heart, soul, mind, and strength.

In today’s world, many are keenly conscious of those “benefits” associated with their employment. What sort of insurance do I have? What is my retirement package, etc.? How frequently do we contemplate, though, the “benefits” of our loving Father? Our God Jesus Christ.

Almighty God, through Christ, will forgive all past sins, for the one who submits to the will of his Son in obedience. Pardon does hinge upon yielding to the terms of the divine plan of salvation.

God is to be served with the best we have; as with the best of our substance, so with the best of our persons; and it is the heart, and soul, which he requires to be given Him; and such service as is performed with the soul or spirit is most agreeable to him; being a Spirit, and therefore must be worshipped in spirit and in truth. Amen…

Do Not be Anxious About Anything

Philippians 4:7

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer gives God a chance to answer and be glorified. Prayer gives your mind a chance to be steadfastly on God. And prayer gives your mind a chance to give over your burdens to the only one who controls the universe…

Paul composed Philippians while he was in prison hence Paul was able to reject anxiety even during his own imprisonment.

The life of faith is filled with the constant challenge ultimately how terrifying life often is….

Well, the Bible in book of Philippians 4:6-7 encourage us to rejoice in the Lord, but also to enact gentleness, make sacrifices for others and focus on whatever is true and whatever is admirable.

The verse says, “Do not be anxious about anything.” It doesn’t state just ““Do not be anxious.”

The word “ANYTHING” means anything.

Many of us have lost our near and dear once due to the impact of the pandemic. Due to the economical crises people have also lost their, savings, business, jobs…. entire generation of families have died in some parts of the world.

The Bible gives teaches us that as Christians, we have a way to acknowledge our anxiety and even plead in our despair and feel that we are not alone.

It is easy for prosperous people, who have nothing to trouble them, to give good advice to suffering hearts; and these are generally as futile as they are easy but due to this pandemic God has taught everyone of us a lesson. If a thing is big enough to threaten me and make me anxious, it is better for me to talk to God about it.

So, the Bible teaches that you can fight everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving.’ That thanksgiving is always in place. If you consider what you have got from God and realizes that whatever you have is received from the hands of divine love, thanksgiving is appropriate in any circumstances.

The temper of the Christian should always be of thanksgiving. There is nothing too great and nothing too small that cannot be given to the Lord, and there is no area in our life, about which we cannot tell the throne of grace. There is no anxiety so disturbing that cannot be guarded by the perfect peace of God and no pain so deep that cannot be healed by Him.

It is by faith that we were saved, and it must be by faith that we live.
